In Giucy Giuce's words "I have always been drawn to the simplicity of line drawing and wanted to focus on spending a few minutes every day drawing with no particular agenda.  One of my favorite parts of this new ritual was flipping through my sketchbook in search of the new blank page.  Before long I began to imagine some of the seemingly disparate designs as a collection, the throughline being that they were created solely with black ink and white paper.  Value has always been an important part of the collections I have designed and the quilts I have made I decided to explore many varied and beautiful shades of grey."
