School of Sewing 1 | Wednesdays Jan-Feb

Class Dates: Wednesdays from January 8th - February 12th
Class Time: 11 AM - 2 PM

In this 6-week series class you will learn the basics of sewing. Tara will be guiding you through the School of Sewing book by Shea Henderson while mastering skills to make fun projects like a drawstring bag, zipper pouch, pillowcase, apron, zip it pillow and so much more. This is such a great introductory class to sewing!

✨ We have 4 classroom sewing machines - if you need to use one for this class, please call to reserve your machine. These are first come, first serve. Otherwise, you will need to provide your own sewing machine!

Additional Supplies will be needed to make each project each week - this will be discussed each week in class. For example, the first project is a pillowcase and you will need:

• 1 yard of main fabric
• 3/8 yard for the cuff
• If you want to add a flange, you will need a 1/8 yard of coordinating fabric
• Sewing Machine
• Basic Sewing Supplies
