Beginning Free Motion Quilting | October 6th
Hurry up, only 6 items left in stock.
Dates: October 6th
Times: 11 AM - 2 PM
Instructor: J.D. Shumway
Number of Sessions: 1
"Where do I start?" "How can I do this?" Put the mystery behind you when you take our 3 hour class. You'll gain confidence while learning to stipple, echo, channel quilt and more. Pick up lots of tips along the way. YOU CAN do this!
A note about your sewing machine:
Most sewing machines will do free motion quilting, some better than others. In order to free motion quilt, you must be able to lower or cover the feed teeth. A darning foot is also necessary.
PLEASE check your attachment box BEFORE coming to class to make sure you have a darning foot. This is not necessarily in your set of attachments. Allow enough time to go to your machine dealer to purchase the darning foot.
If you have a walking foot, bring it with you to class. I will demonstrate how to work with it.
✨ Take 15% off any supplies from Calliope Quilts that you may need for your class!
✨ We have 2 classroom sewing machines - if you need to use one for this class, please call to reserve your machine. These are first come, first serve. Otherwise, you will need to provide your own sewing machine!
