This is the perfect beginner group project! The fat quarters are cut into 5-inch squares or you can use your stash. Since the blocks are trimmed to size after sewing, there is a fudge factor built in. Since every other block is rotated, none of the angled seams have to match. Done, in red, white and blue, it is a great choice for a Quilts of Valor quilt. Participants can donate 5-inch squares in those colorways. Since the squares are only cut once, sewing can begin within minutes.

The Creative Grids CGRKA3 is required. The CGR48 is recommended.
