I’ve written this pattern to be used with fat quarters to help simplify your fabric selection. But I’ll admit to being partial to the versions of this pattern made completely from scraps. To make a scrappy version, I would focus on sewing one block at a time. You will find opportunities for fussy cutting these special pieces.
Because of the modular sizing of the blocks, you can easily adapt the design to any size quilt you prefer. Use four large blocks to make a quick and fast baby quilt, or sew five small blocks in a row for a scrappy table runner.
